Beginning in 2020, I began serving as the Director of Home Missions and Evangelism for The Southern Methodist Church, a Bible-believing Methodist denomination with churches from Maryland to Florida, from South Carolina to Texas, across the southeast. My responsibilities include: Encouraging revival, Helping struggling churches, and Overseeing the work of church-planting. I also serve as the Director of Continuing Education at Southern Methodist College, mentoring pastors and future leaders.
I served as pastor of a group of believers in Bellevue, TN from 2007 to 2021. have been a minister and husband since 1975. I am a father of 4 and grandfather to 9. My wife and I have been married for 48 years.
I have also spent 20 years in post secondary educational administration, 6 years as a principal of a Christian K-12 school, and have experience in retail, warehouse and transportation work. This experience has given me an appreciation for the average layperson who faces the daily pressures of life in the “real world”.
